Audience measurement
If you accept, Google Analytics measures visits to the site: pages viewed, visit length, type of device, approximate country. These statistics are only used to improve the site. No data is sold, and no advertising cookie is set.
Until you give your consent, no Google script is loaded and no data is sent to Google. Google may process this data in the United States, under the Data Privacy Framework.
Your choice and how long it lasts
Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (key mdi-consentement), with its date. It is kept for six months, after which the banner is shown again. Closing the banner without choosing counts as a refusal.
Withdrawing your consent
You can change your mind at any time, from the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page or from the button below. If you withdraw your consent, measurement stops at once and the _ga and _ga_* cookies are deleted.
Your browser settings also let you delete the site’s cookies and data.
Local storage, on your device
The site also uses the browser’s local storage. This information stays on your device and is never sent to a server:
- Your cookie choice, described above.
- Your basket of books, when the shop is open.
- Your reduced motion preference.
- The receipt of a simulated order, deleted when the tab is closed.
How your data is handled is detailed on the Privacy page.
