Your photos, your data

This page describes what the site actually does with your data today, and what is planned for when the shop opens.

This page is a translation of the French original. In case of any difference, the French version prevails.

Today: the bare minimum

The site runs in demonstration mode: no database and no storage space is connected yet. There is no account, and no server that receives your information.

Your basket stays in your browser’s local storage.

The only exception, and only if you accept it in the banner: Google Analytics audience measurement (pages viewed, visit length, type of device, approximate country), used to improve the site. The details, and how to withdraw your consent, are on the Cookies page.

The email forms (interior project waiting list) are not connected yet: the address you enter is not recorded anywhere.

When the shop opens

Sales will rely on service providers chosen for this purpose:

  • Payment on Stripe’s pages: Le Marchand d’intérieur neither sees nor keeps your bank details.
  • Your orders and consents recorded in a Supabase database, under restricted access.
  • Your books kept in a private storage space, delivered through signed, time-limited links.
  • Emails (download links, welcome guide) sent by Brevo, with double confirmation for information emails.

For the interior project, once it opens: your photos will be used only to produce your interior project, and only you will be able to read it.

No AI training on your photos

No artificial intelligence model is trained on your images. This is true in the strict sense: today, no training takes place, on anything at all.

If this were ever to change, your separate and explicit consent would be requested first. No such consent exists anywhere on the site today.

Awaiting legal review

What still needs legal review

This page describes how the site works technically. It does not replace a privacy policy reviewed by a legal professional. Still to be established:

  • The formal legal basis for each processing operation (GDPR).
  • The exact legal retention periods, beyond the choice offered at the time of consent.
  • The point of contact for exercising your rights (access, rectification, erasure) and the contact details of any data protection officer.
  • The procedure for lodging a complaint with the CNIL.

Where the site’s images come from is explained on the Transparency page. Cookies and local storage have their own page.
